Putting women first

Womens Health Hope

Women’s Health Hope is an independent, award-winning charity dedicated to supporting, advocating for and educating about women’s health. Our mission is to shine a light on the unique challenges women face and create a safe space where no one feels alone in their journey.

Our founder knows firsthand the struggles of living with under-recognised and misunderstood health conditions. After battling symptoms for 17 years – often feeling unheard and dismissed – she was finally diagnosed.

“For years, I felt isolated in my own body. Receiving my diagnoses was a long and difficult process, and coming to terms with them is an ongoing journey. This experience inspired me to create change. Women’s health needs greater support and recognition. The physical and emotional impacts of these conditions are profound. No woman should feel isolated or unheard. Together, we can build a community to support and uplift each other.” – Monica, Founder of Women’s Health Hope.

One in three women in the UK will experience a reproductive or gynaecological health problem. Despite this, research has revealed a significant gender gap in healthcare. For example, there is five times more research into erectile dysfunction, which affects 19% of men, than into premenstrual syndrome, which affects 90% of women.

Women’s Health Hope believes every woman deserves to be supported and heard. We aim to raise awareness, educate the wider community about the lived experiences of women navigating complex health conditions, and help close the gender gap in healthcare. Women’s health can be a challenging and isolating journey. Let’s stand together, support one another, and create hope for a healthier future. Don’t face it alone.
